Amazon ECS is hiring a Software Development Engineer to develop and operate its container orchestration service and Fargate. The role involves designing, building, deploying, and owning scalable systems; solving complex software problems; contributing to architecture and technology decisions; using data to validate assumptions; and participating in on-call operations. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and programming experience with at least one language. The position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a base salary of CAD 114,800 to 191,800 annually.
