Description
AWS is hiring a Software Development Engineer to build and operate the server-side systems for Kiro Web, a local web application that manages multiple AI agent sessions. The role owns the backend that spawns and orchestrates kiro-cli processes, handles JSON-RPC 2.0 messaging, WebSockets, REST APIs, multi-agent coordination, tool approval interception, and global distribution infrastructure. The position is based in Seattle or Portland, Washington, and requires at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and experience with large-scale distributed software.
