Description
Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer to build and scale the cloud services and APIs that manage virtual satellites, ground gateways, customer terminals, and TT&C antennas in the VirtSat simulation platform. The role owns the simulation control plane, including entity lifecycle APIs, orchestration workflows, service-side plugins, health-check aggregation, continuous canaries, observability, and multi-tenant capacity management. It requires at least three years of professional software development experience, distributed-systems expertise, API and AWS experience, and a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. The position is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD annually.
