Description
Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its Deals & Promotions team to design and ship customer-facing and backend features that improve deal discovery, ranking, personalization, and AI-driven deal curation. The role owns end-to-end delivery in a distributed systems environment, including reliability, operational excellence, A/B testing, instrumentation, and tradeoffs between speed and quality. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and experience with at least one programming language; full software development life-cycle experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science are preferred. The position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a base salary of CAD 114,800 to 191,800 annually.
