Amazon Leo is hiring a Software Development Engineer to build and maintain the Leo Aviation Solution, a software platform running on embedded aircraft hardware that manages cabin Wi-Fi networks, satellite connectivity, over-the-air software updates, and operational services for passengers, crew, and airlines. The role involves implementing production software, contributing to observability and software deployment pipelines, writing DO-178C-aligned tests, integrating across hardware platforms, and participating in code reviews. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, experience with large-scale embedded or distributed systems, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or refugee/asylum status; prior aviation experience is not required.
