AWS is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its Connect Telecom Engineering team to develop and maintain scalable, resilient telecom systems that support Amazon Connect's voice capabilities. The role owns software from design through development, focuses on carrier connectivity, call routing, SBC automation, and distributed systems, and includes mentoring and cross-team contributions. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and experience with C#, C++, Java, or Perl. The position is based in Mountain View or Sunnyvale, California, with a base salary of $165,200 to $223,600 annually.
