The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining reliable software; implementing complex solutions; collaborating with cross-functional teams; resolving performance and production issues; participating in architecture reviews; and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, three years of complex software-systems experience, two years of experience with large-scale distributed or embedded applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent. The position is available in Cupertino, Santa Clara, Raleigh, Arlington, and Seattle, with base salaries ranging from $143,700 to $223,600 annually depending on location.
