AWS Security is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its US ADC Security Engineering team to develop, operate, and secure tools and automation supporting Amazon Dedicated Clouds and Cleared Programs. The role involves enterprise-scale security architecture, distributed software, zero-trust models, APIs, middleware, infrastructure-as-code automation, machine-learning monitoring, cryptography, authentication and authorization, technical design reviews, and mentoring. Candidates must be United States citizens, hold an active TS/SCI clearance, obtain and maintain a polygraph-verified clearance after start, and have at least three years of professional software development experience. The position is based in Herndon, Virginia, with a base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD annually.
