Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its Amazon Kids team in Toronto. The role owns and delivers customer-facing software features across tablets, Kindle, Fire TV, and other devices, spanning backend services for content discovery, ordering, and parental approvals as well as web and app experiences. The engineer will work across the full software stack, design and architect systems, maintain production software, and solve difficult technical problems. The position requires at least three years of professional software development experience and two years of design or architecture experience, with a preferred bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
