Description
The Software Development Engineer will define, build, and support the system design, architecture, and software for Ring IoT products. The role involves gathering requirements, designing and implementing features, participating in agile development, solving complex embedded-systems and algorithm problems, developing hardware and firmware interfaces, and contributing to system health monitoring, diagnostics, repair, and self-healing automation. The position requires at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, programming experience, and two years of networking and embedded-systems experience, with embedded firmware development experience preferred.
