Amazon’s Business Data Technologies group is hiring a Software Development Engineer to design and build scalable software components and features for distributed data processing. The role involves developing distributed storage, indexing, and query systems; running predictions on distributed systems; collaborating with senior engineers and internal customers; writing maintainable code; participating in code reviews; and troubleshooting software issues. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, three years of video game industry experience, and experience with at least one programming language.
