Description
AWS is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its In-Memory datastore team, part of Amazon ElastiCache. The role owns the full lifecycle of a next-generation in-memory NoSQL database platform, developing large-scale distributed storage systems in Java and C/C++, HTTP/REST services, asynchronous messaging, failure detection, auto-remediation, scaling, monitoring, fault tolerance, backup and restore, and disaster recovery. The engineer will also mentor junior engineers and manage individual project priorities. The position requires at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and experience with distributed software; it is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD annually.
