Description

Amazon Web Services is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its EC2 Network Provisioning team. The role owns the full lifecycle of distributed, asynchronous software development, including requirements, system design, implementation, testing, monitoring, operations, code reviews, feature launches, mentoring, and continuous improvement. The engineer will work primarily in Java and Go, collaborate with principal engineers, and solve large-scale distributed systems problems. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, and offers a base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD annually plus benefits.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
1+ years designing and developing large-scale distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
1+ years of object-oriented design experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
