Amazon Robotics is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its Platform, Data and Tools team to build and enhance the onboard mapping, perception, motion planning, control, ML training and deployment pipelines, and embedded middleware for Proteus, its fully autonomous warehouse robot. The role focuses on hardware acceleration, sensor integration, Jetpack-based platform development, remote diagnostics, hardware testing interfaces, and mentoring engineers. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and embedded development experience in C/C++ or another software language.
