AWS is hiring a Software Development Engineer to improve the Apache Flink stream processing engine and the Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink. The role involves contributing upstream-compatible improvements to open source, enhancing engine efficiency, availability, scalability, reliability, and usability, and writing reusable cloud-service code. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and experience with at least one programming language; experience with data-processing technologies is preferred.
