AWS SageMaker AI is hiring a Software Development Engineer to design, build, test, and operate distributed systems for Model Factory, a platform for building, training, customizing, and evaluating foundation models. The role owns components from design through delivery and on-call operations, including workflow orchestration, compute-backend integrations, job launchers, resiliency, observability, SDK and contract layers, and containerized training frameworks. The position requires substantial software development and distributed-systems experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, and collaboration with ML scientists and platform teams.
