Description
AWS SageMaker AI is hiring a Software Development Engineer to design, build, test, and operate distributed systems for Model Factory, a platform for building, training, customizing, and evaluating foundation models. The role owns components end-to-end, including workflow orchestration, compute-backend integrations, job launchers, resiliency and observability, SDK and contract layers, and infrastructure-as-code. The engineer will collaborate with ML scientists and platform teams, translate training requirements into reliable services, and contribute to architecture, testing, code review, and engineering leadership. The position is based in Bellevue, Washington, with a base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD annually.
