Description
AWS Billing’s Agreements team is hiring a Software Development Engineer in Berlin to build and operate distributed systems for cloud-based commerce, billing, agreements, pricing, and downstream customer information. The role involves end-to-end ownership of products and platforms, including agentic automation, core data stores, and systems that publish agreement and pricing information, using AWS technologies such as DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, and CDK. Responsibilities include designing scalable, fault-tolerant systems, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, and delivering high-quality software in an agile environment. Required qualifications include experience building complex software systems, designing or architecting systems, programming in a modern object-oriented language, and experience across the full software development lifecycle.
