Fortinet is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to develop, test, and maintain backend web applications, collaborate with product and design teams, write scalable code, debug technical issues, and document development processes. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, proficiency in Python or Go, knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, microservice development, Kubernetes, Kafka, relational and non-SQL databases, access control, version control, and automation testing. Cloud services and cloud storage experience are preferred. The position is full-time, requires authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, and offers a base salary of $110,000-$130,000 plus benefits.
