Description
Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its Aurora DSQL commit team to build high-performance, reliable, highly available systems and services that provide ACID properties at massive scale. The role involves designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software; solving challenging distributed-systems problems; improving architecture, automation, metrics, and reliability; and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires at least five years of professional software development experience, programming experience, leading design or architecture experience, and experience mentoring, leading as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team. The role is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of $168,100 to $227,400 annually.
