AWS is hiring a Software Engineer for its Best Fit job match program across ANZ. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining distributed software; investigating technical feasibility; writing high-quality code; conducting peer code reviews; establishing architectural principles; mentoring junior engineers; and creating engineering documentation. Candidates need at least four years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, programming experience, and experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and object-oriented software design in Linux/Unix environments. A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent and knowledge of software engineering best practices are preferred.
