Description
The AWS Config Rules Platform team is hiring a Software Development Engineer to design, build, and operate high-scale distributed systems that evaluate customer resource configurations at scale. The role owns the evaluation engine across the full lifecycle, improves scalability and reliability, builds customer-facing compliance capabilities, participates in on-call and root-cause analysis, and collaborates with AWS governance teams. It requires at least three years of professional software development experience, experience with large-scale distributed systems, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and programming experience; the position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD annually.
