AWS is hiring an individual contributor to design and operate serverless microservices for its Amazon RDS database migration service. The role covers assessment, schema conversion, data movement, agentic workflows, operational excellence, incident response, architecture, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration. It also includes mentoring SDE Is and participating in on-call rotations. The posting requires professional software development experience, system design or architecture experience, and programming experience; a bachelor's degree and full software development lifecycle experience are preferred.
