The Software Development Engineer will design, build, and operate distributed discount-billing systems for AWS customers, including usage-based, private-rate-card, cross-service, prepayment, and volume discounts. The role focuses on configuration-driven discount infrastructure, billing accuracy, auditability, customer transparency, CI/CD, and operational reliability, while partnering with sales, finance, and service teams and mentoring engineers. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, and offers a base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD annually.
