Description
Zillow is hiring a Senior Specialist, Software Engineering, Back End to design, build, and operate scalable backend services and APIs, own GraphQL schemas, engineer resilient data pipelines, and manage production reliability and incident response. The role requires a computer science degree or equivalent practical experience and at least five years of experience building scalable consumer-facing backend services, along with expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, and infrastructure as code. It is a teleworker position for employees living anywhere in Mexico, with availability to travel to Mexico City and attend occasional office events.
