The role combines AI, data engineering, and software resilience to develop event-driven pipelines, application discovery and metadata platforms, autonomous agents that evaluate configuration and code changes, and an intelligence layer for reliability decisions. Responsibilities include operating production services, participating in on-call rotation, and collaborating with Amazon teams on resilience standards. The team is Dublin-headquartered and sits within Amazon's Central Reliability and Response Engineering organisation.
