Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its Charge Calculation team in the eCommerce services group. The role involves designing and building flexible, scalable systems that orchestrate charge calculations and charge summaries throughout the consumer purchasing workflow, using data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. Candidates need at least three years of non-internship software development and design or architecture experience, programming experience, and preferably full software development life-cycle experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. The position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a base salary of CAD 114,800 to 191,800 annually.
