AWS Route 53 Resolver is hiring a mid-level Software Development Engineer to help build and operate a globally distributed DNS resolution service. The role spans control-plane and data-plane development, API surfaces, integrations with AWS networking and security systems, system architecture, quality practices, and coaching junior engineers. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and experience with at least one programming language; full software development life-cycle experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science are preferred. The position is available in Arlington, Herndon, Seattle, and Vancouver, with a disclosed annual base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD in the United States.
