Description
Fiserv is hiring a Software Development Engineer (COBOL) to design, develop, test, implement, and support mission-critical mainframe-based applications for financial institutions and clients. The role includes application and batch processing troubleshooting, project coordination, customer initiatives, product upgrades, migrations, and mentoring. It requires substantial experience with COBOL, DB2, SQL, batch processing technologies, and a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. The position is on-site Monday through Friday in New Jersey or New York, with rotational night and weekend work and on-call expectations, and requires U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship.
