Amazon Web Services is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its AWS Elastic Block Store (EBS) Data Plane Durability Engine team. The role focuses on developing and operating core EBS storage logic, durability, and performance components for one of the world’s largest distributed storage systems. Responsibilities include solving large-scale engineering problems, collaborating with AWS teams, and contributing to secure, reliable systems. The position requires at least two years of non-internship professional software development experience, at least one year of design or architecture experience, and experience with at least one programming language; full software development life cycle experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent are preferred.
