Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer I to help build and scale the Alexa+ Amazon Store experience on Echo Show and Fire devices. The role involves designing, implementing, testing, and operating features for real-time rendering, visual grounding, conversational commerce, and expansion to new surfaces and marketplaces. The engineer will own components through design, implementation, testing, and livesite operations, participate in code reviews, collaborate with engineering, science, product, and design teams, and grow autonomy with mentorship. The position requires at least three years of non-internship professional software development experience and two years of experience with large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
