Amazon is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Alexa Devices team to develop and maintain systems that deliver speech-backed visual experiences on Echo Show, Echo Spot, and similar devices. The role involves building Android-based experiences, APIs, web services, device frameworks, and large-scale data infrastructure; collaborating with UX, Product, and third-party teams; and delivering high-quality software in an Agile/Scrum environment. Candidates need at least four years of professional software development and system design or architecture experience, programming experience, and preferably full software development life-cycle experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
