AWS is hiring a Software Development Engineer II for its Oracle Database@AWS team to design, build, and operate a fully managed Oracle Database service on AWS. The role owns scalable distributed-systems features across infrastructure automation, control-plane services, monitoring, security, and customer-facing APIs, from requirements through deployment and operational support. It requires at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and experience with at least one programming language; preferred qualifications include full software development life-cycle experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. The position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a base salary of CAD 114,800 to 191,800 annually.
