Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer II for its Catalog Diagnostics & Analytics team within Selection and Catalog Systems. The role owns end-to-end development of significant features, including agentic architectures, production-grade data pipelines, catalog-change traceability, product-identity inference, and large-scale information retrieval systems. The engineer will work with applied scientists, principal engineers, and product managers, contribute to technical design and roadmaps, mentor engineers, and address production reliability challenges. The position requires at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and experience with C#, C++, Java, or Perl. The role is based in Sunnyvale, California, with a base salary of $165,200 to $223,600 annually.
