AWS Supply Chain is hiring a Software Development Engineer II to design and build the simulation platform, tools, and algorithms that determine AWS data center replenishment planning across global operations. The role owns significant portions of the planning system through design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support; collaborates with supply chain stakeholders; participates in code reviews; and improves system performance and reliability. The position requires at least three years of professional software development experience, experience with large-scale distributed or multi-threaded systems, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. It is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD annually.
