Description
AWS is hiring a Software Development Engineer II to own the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of core components of its in-house network software, including controllers, software-defined networking, planning software, and out-of-band systems. The role requires end-to-end ownership of well-scoped features, production operations, correctness and safety for network automation, collaboration, mentoring, and on-call participation. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, experience with large-scale distributed or embedded systems, object-oriented design, systems architecture, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD annually.
