Esri is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to build geospatial backend services, APIs, proxies, integrations, geoprocessing tools, and automation workflows for Defense and Intel clients. The role uses Python, Node.js, Java, ArcGIS Enterprise, containerized environments, cloud-native and on-premises deployments, and observability practices. It requires at least two years of backend software engineering experience, relevant professional experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and U.S. citizenship with an active or current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. The position is onsite in the Redlands, California area, with relocation assistance available, and offers a base salary of $97,240 to $162,240 USD.
