Esri is hiring a Software Development Engineer II to design and develop scalable backend services, APIs, proxies, integration pipelines, geoprocessing services, and automation workflows for mission-critical geospatial applications supporting defense and intelligence operations. The role involves Node.js, Python, Java, REST APIs, containerized environments, cloud and on-premises deployments, observability, and collaboration with platform, DevOps, and GIS teams. It is an onsite position in the Redlands, California area, requires U.S. citizenship and an active or current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility, and offers a base salary of $97,240 to $162,240 USD.
