Description
AWS is hiring an SDE II to design, build, and operate distributed services for data center infrastructure, including fleet-scale metric ingestion, stream processing, alarm evaluation, automated triage and routing, telemetry analytics, and industrial control-device management. The role also covers integrations with operations teams, AWS infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, production debugging, root-cause analysis, and mentoring earlier-career engineers. It requires at least three years of software development experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience; data center infrastructure or operations experience is preferred. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD annually.
