The Software Development Engineer will join Amazon’s Digital Catalog team and provide technical leadership while designing and developing high-scale web services and workflows for digital content publishing and purchasing. The role includes mentoring junior engineers, managing on-call routing, improving operational efficiency, delivering high-quality products, and automating testing where needed. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, at least three years of professional software development experience, three years of design or architecture experience, and three years of programming in a modern language such as Java, C++, or C#.
