Amazon EU Prime Marketing & Incentives Tech is hiring a Software Development Engineer II to build scalable, cloud-native distributed systems using AWS, serverless architectures, event-driven patterns, and microservices. The role integrates generative AI, large language models, and machine learning pipelines into production systems that power personalized customer engagement across Amazon and digital marketing channels. Responsibilities include end-to-end software development, architecture and code reviews, testing, deployment, operational excellence, technical decision-making, and mentoring. The position requires at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, three years of video game industry experience, and programming experience; full software development lifecycle experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent are preferred.
