Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer to design and build mission-critical backend systems and products for its OnRoad Transporter X last-mile delivery platform. The role focuses on tier-1 services such as FIPS and IM, real-time adaptive transportation solutions, routing and optimization, distributed systems, API design, mobile-to-backend integration, offline delivery execution, secure data handling, bandwidth optimization, and real-time dispatch visibility. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and experience developing large-scale distributed software with C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
