Description

Blue Origin is hiring a Software Development Engineer III to help build and operate an enterprise engineering-license management and workload-orchestration system. The role focuses on FLEXlm/FlexNet Publisher floating-license administration, monitoring, reporting, automation, utilization optimization, workload queuing, distributed-systems troubleshooting, and Python-based software engineering. It may also support AI-enabled engineering analysis pipelines and surrogate-model development. The position requires at least five years of relevant professional experience, hands-on FlexNet Publisher administration or integration experience, strong scripting and automation skills, and U.S.-person eligibility under export-control regulations. A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and experience with Python, APIs, data pipelines, schedulers, machine learning, and engineering analysis are preferred.
