ID.me is hiring a Software Development Engineer III for its Commerce & Loyalty team to build and maintain the Shop member-facing experience using Next.js and React. The role involves developing responsive, accessible, high-performance UI for offer discovery, cashback, and rewards; integrating frontend services with REST and GraphQL backends; optimizing performance under peak traffic; contributing to design systems and component libraries; and collaborating across product, design, application, quality, API, and infrastructure teams. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, at least four years of web application development experience, strong React and Next.js skills, TypeScript proficiency, and experience with cloud-based infrastructure. The role is five days per week onsite in Mountain View, California, or McLean, Virginia.
