Interactive Brokers is hiring a Software Development Engineer in Test to build and maintain automated testing infrastructure for systems processing more than one billion order events daily. The role covers scalable testing frameworks, unit, integration, and acceptance testing, test coverage and reliability reporting, monitoring and alerting, data quality checks, and triage of test failures. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, 5–10 years of test automation experience, strong Python and coding skills, experience with unit testing frameworks and Git, and a solid foundation in testing methodologies and quality assurance. The position is based in Budapest and offers a hybrid work arrangement.
