Description
Plaud is hiring a Software Engineer in Test to build its quality engineering function from the ground up. The role owns test automation across consumer and enterprise platforms, integrates tests into CI/CD, embeds quality early in the SDLC, coaches engineers, tracks quality metrics, and leads release sign-off. The engineer will also perform manual testing for the first 3–6 months while the automation framework is established. Required qualifications include 6+ years of software testing experience with a strong automation focus, Playwright proficiency, Python or TypeScript test code, API testing, CI/CD integration, agile product-engineering experience, and curiosity or early experience with AI/LLM testing tools.
