Description
Apple is hiring a Software Development Engineer in Test for its Darwin Ecosystem Quality Engineering team. The role partners with development teams across userspace runtimes, concurrency and IPC libraries, process lifecycle, diagnostics, logging, app installation, and server operating-system foundations to define test strategy, build and extend automated test infrastructure, execute validation plans, investigate complex failures spanning userspace, kernel, hardware, and infrastructure, and communicate quality risks and release-readiness signals. The position requires strong operating-system and UNIX knowledge, C and Python programming, automated testing, systems-level problem solving, and a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field.
