Description
Mimecast is hiring a Software Development Engineer in Test II for its Governance, Compliance & Insights team. The role is focused on backend-heavy full-stack test automation for enterprise data backup and recovery products, including API, UI, performance, and load testing across distributed systems. The engineer will own the squad’s test strategy, collaborate closely with developers in Agile ceremonies, investigate failures, and improve automation frameworks using Java, Maven, JUnit 5, REST Assured, K6, AWS, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Playwright, TypeScript, and AI-assisted development tools. The position is offered in a hybrid model with at least two days per week in-office.
