Apple is hiring a Java Test Automation Engineer to architect, build, and maintain scalable test automation infrastructure and custom backend tooling for its global retail ecosystem. The role covers Java-based frameworks for REST APIs, enterprise SAP workflows, and web or mobile applications; custom test harnesses and execution infrastructure; integration of automated test suites into Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes CI/CD pipelines; cross-functional QA leadership; and organization-wide quality standards and shift-left testing practices. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, professional software development and test automation experience, and at least five years of hands-on Java application and tooling development.
