Description
Amazon is hiring Software Development Engineer interns for its Amazon Dedicated Cloud organization to design, build, and operate scalable cloud services and distributed systems in secure, air-gapped environments. The 12-week full-time internship requires in-person work at one of four United States locations, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis and consideration for Summer 2027 placements. Interns will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, develop and review code, use AI-assisted development tools, participate in CI/CD and on-call operations, and contribute to technical documentation. The role requires a relevant STEM degree, programming experience, data-structure and algorithm experience, and AI-assisted development experience; a security clearance is required for selected candidates. Starting pay is $109,395 annually at each listed location.
